We are very pleased to confirm that we have now been accredited in our own right to ISO 9001:2000 rather than as part of our parent company.

Production Manager

Some of you may be aware that Dean Haney has left us to embark on a solo career. Graham Tonkin is therefore currently running production until our new Production Manager joins in Oct/Nov. This is an exciting opportunity for us to benefit from a fresh approach, which will take the company forward.

IPC In House Trainers

We also have two employees been trained as In House Trainers this month for IPC Level Soldering. Following their return they will be delivering the training on to the rest of the workforce and will be able to issue certification to those achieving the required levels of competence.

Sponsoring Cornwall Hospice Care

Rob and Geoff

Our employee Rob Mercer, who operates one of our surface mount machines, is using the shutdown week to fulfil one of his life long ambitions of cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats.

The trip is planned to take 10 days and Teddington Electronics are pleased to be sponsoring Rob to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care—a charity that has been of recent help to a Teddington former employee and her relatives.

We hope you get calm, dry weather Rob!

    4th March 2008

Teddington Electronics have been working with Sue Hook from Sapience HR for the past 6 months and her input, experience and dedication has significantly improved the way in which we approach our HR issues.

With more pressures to manufacture and deliver, HR can be side-lined. But with Sapience, Sue acts as our in-house HR department.

We believe that Sapience HR is a vital addition to any small to medium enterprise.
